SMS Ba Shir, Crabbet Arabian stallion
Today I updated the horses' race records and progeny records. Ba Shir surprised us by winning a G4 race against top competition! Looks like we have a very promising racetrack prospect. Also Saheeba and Kalilah won their separate C4 races, and Ibn Rashdan placed second in his race against tough competition :) Very happy about the progress our Arabians are making on the track!
Also our Thoroughbreds did very well, with Black Heavens winning his G4 race and Cruising Home placing second in her G4 race against Red Attack, also a son of Sky's On Fire.
The End of Year Awards are coming up very soon too, so we're keeping our fingers crossed for Sky's On Fire to win Horse Of The Year for the second time!
In more exciting news, the ABMHA Championship Show is being held right at this moment, and we have quite a few horses entered in the divisions. I hope to have at least one champion this year (high hopes for Treasured Moves and Vogue!), as I didn't enter the 2011 Championship show last year due to having a break from photoshowing. Anyway, the results should be out soon :)
Last but not least, our Holstein mare Vogue has now earned a total of 525 IMEHA points in the Halter division, so she earned the IMEHA Champion Award in Halter! :D Idocus is also well underway to getting awarded that title with his 320 points. Also Vogue and Idocus' son, SMS Idolic, has earned 185 points too! Seems like it was a good choice to get the Holsteins into the showring :)
